Marymere Falls, Olympic National Park, Washington
Marymere in a Tall Frame
A vertical frame of Marymere Falls — the water falls the full height of the cliff, soft and white against moss.
Marymere Falls already sits in the catalogue as a wider view. This frame is the vertical version — the water running the full height of the cliff, white and soft against moss.
The trail brings you close enough that the fall fills a tall sensor. Ferns and wet rock at the edges keep it from floating in empty space.
I let the shutter go long enough to silk the water without turning the ferns to mush. A little motion in the foliage is fine; lost detail is not.
Same walk as the mossy rainforest frame. Different stop, different proportion.
